Throughout the year we want celebrate key STEAM education dates in the academic year with bonus shows and special guests.

World Space Week

4th October 2018

Since its United Nations declaration in 1999, World Space Week has grown into the largest public space event on Earth. More than 3,700 events in 80 countries celebrated the benefits of space and excitement about space exploration in 2017. The 2019 theme is “The Moon: Gateway to the Stars.” We will be celebrating with 3 special shows at 9:30am, 12:30pm and 6:30pm.

Global Entrepreneurship Week

12-18th November 2018

Global Entrepreneurship Week is a celebration of the innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare. During one week each November, GEW inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators. Steam School will host three shows with young entrepreneurs on November 15th at 9:30am, 12:30pm, 6:30pm 

National Careers Week

4-9th March 2019

To celebrate National Careers week, Steam School will go live every lunchtime at 12:30pm. We will be interviewing young STEAM apprentices working and leading innovative projects in their fields of expertise.

British Science Week

8-17th March 2019

As a regular fixture in most schools’ calendar – this is not to be missed. Steam School will go live every lunchtime again, week beginning 11th March, to interview scientists and engineers working on solving some of humanities biggest challenges! 

World Social Media Day

30th June 2019

Social media is so influential in our daily lives and habits, Steam School will once again go live every lunchtime interviewing social media influencers and young innovators starting their careers in social media tech giants.
