Steam School 2019/2020 Recruitment is Open!

Sign up for a open event below:

Steam School:
Steam School connects schools with science and tech innovators via our weekly live broadcasts and accompanying mini challenges. By showcasing the stories of young innovators, discussing tech trends and scientific breakthroughs, Steam School inspires students to develop a new awareness about how rapid technological change is transforming the world in which we live. Our mission is to connect 100,000s students across the globe with STEAM innovators and to inspire them to create positive global change with science and technology.

Success to Date:
Our programme has been well received by both primary and secondary schools across the U.K. and internationally.  We add value to existing careers and STEM programmes, connect students to inspirational role models from all over the globe and save teachers precious time in having to locate inspirational guests by themselves. In recent months we have secured some fantastic partnerships including Doncaster Opportunity Area / Careers Hub and London Grid for Learning. Very recently we were delighted to win the Cool Initiatives Edtech Competition for UK startups.

Steam School Platform:
Our app is currently in development – ready for launch in September. This will enhance what we already do by:
1. Students will have direct access to the programme, be able to capture their pre and post broadcast learning and collect STEAM powered certification by completing STEAM missions.
2. Teacher Dashboard – teachers will have access to rich impact data including participation rates and certification outcomes – all of which they will be able to analyse by gender and age.
